Post 6: Time travel to the future

Hi everyone!

When I think about the future, I feel really pessimistic because of the consequences that the climate change can produce in the planet. But if I could travel to the future, I would like to go to the year 3000 to see if the humanity destroyed the planet’s environment and see all the technological advances that could be created. I think that the only reason why I would like to go to the future and stay there, it would be if it looks like a better place than the present, for example if the society has done something for the environment and if it has become a more friendly place where people are more kind to each other and treat the animals and the other people in a nice way.

But being honest I don’t think that we as a society survive until the year 3000, because probably we destroyed the planet’s environment long before we get to that year. I believe that it is extremely likely that the pollution and human actions will destroy the planet, including the animals, the plants and the people, so I don’t know if there is going to be a future to travel to, but in the case that there will be a future in the year 3000 I would like to go and stay there.
